The Corruption Perception Index (CPI) scores and ranks 182 countries on "public-sector corruption perceived by experts and businesspeople". Transparency International updates the CPI at the end of January each year.
In 2025, the United States scored 64 out of 100, a worsening in corruption by 1 point compared to 2024.
This question resolves YES if the US has a worse score on the CPI for 2026 (i.e. -1 or worse reduction in score), and resolves NO if they stay the same or improve.
