Transferring from my city college for next fall. I am applying for philosophy. I have a 3.95 GPA, 16 honors credits, president of philosophy club for 3 semesters and president of literature club for 2 semesters (not including this semester as this semester began after i submitted my application).

Results release in late April.

Just got into UC Irvine with merit scholarship.

Have you read Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals by Kant? What did you think of it?

@JimAusman I have not. Closest is Korsgaard's "The Sources of Normativity". I do not plan on specializing much in moral theory, but I endorse Kantian Deontology (through Korsgaard) more than any of the other major moral systems I have run into.

Where did you go to community college?
